My Best DT Back Picks

Value packed backs

BACKS

Simon Goodwin
He debut in 1997 and yes I realise it is 2010 but I feel he has a few more years left in him..Averaging scores of 80+ priced at 393,600. Yes he has had his down moments but, 34 possessions nab cup? makes me feel even more confident he will go one better this year averaging around 90+. He is a consistent player for his price.

Rhyce Shaw

This man is good.Valued at 378,500. His DT score has never slipped and only gets better ever year. I feel the move to Syd has done him poud as to not be in same team as his bro. Rhyce will ripen this year. Watch out.

Heath Grundy

Debut 2006 with only a handfull of games but in 2009 when he was given the opportunity..WOW!! Still only 25/26 years old he has X factor written all over him and what a bargin!

Paul Duffield
Priced at $392,700 Debut 2006..and wil nnly rise in status. He will play 22 games as will the other back above mentioned.

These backs are extremely fit players that will give their all in every game!

Rookie benchie backs.

Alex Silvagni

Recently promoted senior for Fremantle. Why? Look at Fro's backs, he is going to be needed may not be in round 1 but he will be there when your Freo backs get injured. His average is somewhat left to be desired, but being a rookie we would not expect a back to produce HIGH scores anyway.

Simon Buckley

Was once on senior list but due to injury he fell. He Was a Melbourne player that was never given his chance. Mick gives everyone a chance, so he is a safe bet for TOG. I do not understand Melbourne, as when Buckley was given a chance he averaged 90+ in just 14 games. Pies have picked him up so where does he go from here? Pies have a full list to play uninjured but Mick being Mick will give him a shot if one of his backline is down. Remember not many backline to choose from.

That is my 2 cents worth on backs.

I shall post Mids in a couple of days.
